ABOUT THE ROLE
This new role is more related to writing solicitations, writing requirements, running larger and more complex Procurement responsibilities.

The Procurement department at Virginia Department of Agriculture is seeking an IT Sourcing Consultant to execute sourcing strategies for assigned projects. Role will assist in drafting and finalizing solicitation documents, drafting bid tabs, evaluating solicitation responses, completing reference checks, review of terms and conditions, and drafting contract documents.

Required 3 Years Ability to draft requirements in a clear and concise manner
Required 3 Years Ability to draft solicitation documents that detail needs clearly
Required 3 Years Assist customers in solving business problems
Required 3 Years Review terms and conditions and provide redlines for management review
Required 3 Years Ability to follow VPPA and APSPM guidelines
Required 3 Years Understanding of basic procurement/sourcing principles
Required 3 Years Ability to lead procurement teams through the sourcing process
Required 3 Years Ability to help manage customer expectations and provide strong customer service
Required 3 Years Communicate effectively and clearly with internal and external customers
Highly desired 3 Years Knowledge of eVA
