Senior Security Specialist Networking

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

Job Description:

Network Security Operations has an urgent and critical need to onboard a Network Security Specialist contractor. The Network Security Operations team comprises of four FTE’s and we currently have one vacancy and are anticipating a second vacancy in the coming month. Onboarding one twelve-month contractor will bring us up to 75% staffing and will allow us to continue critical operations and project work that is required to protect and safeguard the state’s networks and data center resources.
Critical projects the contractor will be responsible for:
i. VPN MFA Authentication Migration
ii. Cisco Network Readiness Assessment Remediation (NRA)
iii. Rubrik Data Protection Deployment
iv. Replace ASA 5516 Cluster NS Firewall at EDC
v. Upgrade Firewall Software Code on Cisco Cluster 4114 Firewalls
vi. Production Mainframe Migration to Ensono
vii. Other critical operations and support tasks
Required 3 Years. Experience with VPN MFA Authentication Migration
Required 3 Years. Experience with Cisco Network Readiness Assessment Remediation (NRA)
Required 3 Years. Experience with Rubrik Data Protection Deployment
Required 3 Years. Experience with Replacing ASA 5516 Cluster NS Firewall
Required 3 Years. Upgrading Firewall Software Code on Cisco Cluster 4114 Firewalls
Required 3 Years. Other critical operations and support tasks
